2023 is an exciting year for JD Law, as the firm is celebrating its ten-year anniversary. On February 5, 2013, Chris Stephan and Jennifer Cragg opened the doors to JD Law.
When it began, JD Law was composed of two lawyers, and two legal assistants. Today, JD Law has 6 lawyers, 1 summer student, and 9 legal assistants. 3 articling students and 14 Red Deer College legal assistant practicum students have been placed with, and began their careers at JD Law.
As the firm has grown, JD Law has maintained a focus on creating an exceptional user experience for their many clients. Chris, Jennifer and Seal make an effort to meet with each of their clients, and personally be on hand to help them through their legal matters. Seal, Jennifer, and Chris are all currently listed on ThreeBestRated.ca for Red Deer for their respective practice areas of law.
There have been many things to celebrate over the past ten years. Jennifer and Chris expanded their space in 2015 when they had outgrown their office. Then in 2017, Seal Nulliah joined the firm and launched JD Law’s Matrimonial Department. A second JD Law location was opened to handle the new department in Red Deer, and a new Sylvan Lake matrimonial office was opened in 2020.
In 2020, Jennifer Cragg and Chris Stephan, moved from their old location in the Millennium Centre and opened up two new offices in Downtown Red Deer at Capstone and the Elements at Rivers Edge Building. There are now 4 JD Law locations in Central Alberta. 3 locations in Red Deer and 1 location in Sylvan Lake.
Following ten years of positive growth, JD Law is looking forward to the next ten years, serving our wonderful clients and the great people of Central Alberta.
